Alexander Greiner, MD, FAAAAI, CPI started his medical career on the East Coast but (fortunately for him) ended up in San Diego where he completed his fellowship in allergy and clinical immunology at UCSD in 2003. Dr Greiner has decided to take a step back from his role as owner and research director of AAMGRC as of January 2024 but continues to see children and adults in the clinic for the evaluation of a variety of allergic diseases. He continues to be active in the research division as well.

On a personal note, he has 3 adult children and remains happily married to a teacher. He enjoys spending time with his friends and family, being active and cooking.
