Alexander N. Greiner, M.D.

Alexander N. Greiner, MD was born in Germany and grew up in Spain, Germany and the United States. He received his undergraduate degree from Columbia University in New York and medical degree from the State University of New York at Syracuse. After finishing his training in internal medicine at Winthrop University Hospital in New York, he moved to San Diego where he completed a two year fellowship in Allergy and Clinical Immunology at the University of California at San Diego.

Dr. Greiner, a board-certified specialist in Allergy and Immunology, is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Medicine, at the University of California, San Diego. He has been in private practice with Allergy & Asthma Medical Group & Research Center since 2003. During this time he has participated in many research studies focusing on various aspects of allergic diseases, including asthma, rhinitis and sinusitis. He is actively lecturing and has published several articles and abstracts in various medical journals. Dr. Greiner and his wife have two sons and one daughter.
